Your $450 HT-10's would be done in 25 laps seeing that you could drive at an instructor level. There is no cooling, and the aftermarket cooling is weak. Also with that power it's going to be hard to find an instructor that will sit in that car. You have no experience in a car that'll do 160 on the back straight (faster if you have a BBK) and someone is trusting you with there life. I would strongly advise you to use a different car as that car is not going to teach you anything about road racing or how to drive fast.
FYI i've been doing this for some time now, and i'll be getting my instructor license this summer and TAKE my advice for your own good!!! MOST every car that get's totalled out there is a highly modified car with a driver who LEARNED on a highly modified street car to start, instead of a stock car, or momentum race car. It's to the point where I just feel sorry for the one's doing it right in the momentum cars, as they loose track time when the stupid newbs bring 600hp Vette's, rediculous Evo's and M3's and smash them into the wall because they think big power automatically makes them good and experienced. Happens almost every weekend!! PM me if you'd like to be introduced to it out there properly. I can hook you up with some veteran friends with Evo track cars that are quite fast (all with less than 400 crank hp).
